Technical & Operations Site Supervisor (M/F/X) Germany (Giesdorf)

Together with a close-knit team, you will work from Germany - Giesdorf.
What tasks will you perform?
- Organizes the preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
- Warehouse management and ordering of technical parts.
- Responsible for the commissioning and legal inspections of machines, internal transport units and safety equipment.
- Carrying out inspection rounds in production to ensure efficiency, maintenance, quality and safety.
- Reduction of changeover times through machine optimizations according to the SMED principle.
- Ensures & Organizes the technical training to the internal maintenance team.
- Effectively guiding hands-on format changes, driving forklifts in case of operational necessity, thorough technical knowledge of all machines.
- The maintenance team is to the organization like oil to the machine, through good cooperation with/between departments and employees, you ensure a well-functioning machine park.
- Oversees the implementation of changes or improvements in the production equipment.
- Has a helicopter view of everything that goes on on the factory floor.
- You are responsible for a smooth start-up and shutdown of production and replace the plant manager in his absence.
- Taking a close look at processes and making improvements where possible to make them safer, more efficient and/or more qualitative.
- Actively participate in the development of ISO standards action plans and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring safety and compliance with company rules in the workplace.
- Coaching and guiding employees in their growth so that they develop the right behavior and the right competencies.
- Ensuring that there is good cooperation with HR and that the HR processes are implemented (in cases where the plant manager must be replaced in their absence).
- Coordinates all activities from external technical service providers on the site: deliveries & installation of production equipment and Technical Services.
- Takes up the responsibility of the handing over equipment from equipment suppliers.
- Ensures that the correct technical documentation is delivered from the suppliers with the equipment.
- Coordinates Technical Improvement projects with the Central Engineering Services within the PGS Group.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
- Conceptual knowledge of Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics , Power supply and Energy consumption.
- Preferably 5 years of experience in a production environment.
- Experience in the manufacturing/process industry.
- Certificate of forklift driver, or experience and willingness to take the certificate internally.
- Driving skills for wheel loader, crane, or willingness to learn.
Competencies:
- Hands-on, decisive and able to deal quickly and decisively with unexpected circumstances or setbacks.
- Knowledge of MS Office, PLC applications, traditional contactor circuits and frequency controllers.
- Good knowledge of German and English is required.
- Preferably has organizational, administrative and leadership skills.
- Communicates smoothly and clearly with all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Works smoothly with colleagues, shares knowledge, experience, best practices.
- Can work well independently and needs little adjustment from parent management.
- Safety and quality conscious, result-oriented.
- Persistent and able to lead change.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Is flexible and can occasionally start earlier or stay later depending on production needs.
