What tasks will you perform?
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on the entire machinery of the site – mechanical, electrical and hydraulic.
You ensure fast and efficient interventions in the event of technical failures to avoid downtime.
Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, with knowledge of frequency converters and machines (SEW, Leroy Somer, Siemens).
Active contribution to safety and quality awareness in the workplace.
Supporting the installation and start-up of new machines/equipment: adjusting, testing and optimizing.
Spare parts inventory management: follow-up, identification of shortages, identification of critical parts.
Reporting of work carried out via maintenance and malfunction reports (digital), including analyses of recurring problems.
You work closely with operators and provide them with technical support in the correct use and maintenance of machines.
Identifying and implementing technical improvements within maintenance processes.
You contribute to the company's sustainable values: efficiency, reliability and environmentally conscious maintenance.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications:
At least a university degree in a technical field or an equivalent qualification through experience.
A first professional experience as a maintenance technician.
Good knowledge of industrial maintenance, particularly knowledge of mechanics, electronics and hydraulics.
BA 4 certificate or willingness to become competent.
Forklift driving certificate or willingness to become proficient during employment.
Competencies:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
Proficiency in German and English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
Knowledge of electrical schematics and reading skills.
Basic knowledge of machines and drives.
Knowledge of SEW / LEROY SOMER and SIEMENS is an advantage.
Enterprising and can work proactively.
Knowledge of automation is an advantage.
Hands-on and result-oriented.
Flexible and decisive.
Safety and quality conscious.
Able to quickly and accurately analyze and apply/implement solutions to malfunctions so that machines and systems quickly function optimally again.

PGS GROUP has been active in the wood packaging industry for 30 years. PGS stands for Palettes Gestion Services and was founded in France in the year 1993. PGS started with the repair and sale of wooden second-hand pallets and currently trades in both second-hand and new pallets.
