General & HR Administrative Support Officer (M/F/X) Germany

As an employee within the PGS team, you will be working in a fast-growing company with a family atmosphere but still within an international environment.

What tasks will you perform?

HR-related

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions.
  • Track attendance and absences, including daily monitoring of registrations (e.g., overtime) via the time recording system (Protime).
  • Maintain and update personnel files, including administrative follow-up and contract management.
  • Collaborate with Central HR (Belgium) regarding HR policies, updates, and processes.

Operation-related

  • Prepare production performance reports.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating shipments.
  • Manage vacation and absence planning.
  • Perform general secretarial tasks and operate the switchboard.
  • Verify digital invoices and ensure proper documentation.
  • Create delivery notes and support related administrative processes.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a Master's/Bachelor's degree or you are equivalent by experience.
  • You have knowledge of German and English. Knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus.
  • You have a good knowledge of Excel and you are ready to master our own ERP package.
  • You have highly developed, demonstrable skills in teamwork and people leadership.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and a pragmatic mindset.
  • You can work in a multicultural and international environment, and are the link between business, finance, HR and operations.
  • You prefer to work full-time.

  • Your place of employment is in PGS Udo Bilstein Paletten: Henkelstraße 67, 40589 Düsseldorf.
  • Schedule: full-time from Monday to Friday.
